Oops! Sorry about that! For some reason I was under the impression you had a different first name. Regardless--welcome!

Those valentine cards weren't fairly creepy -- they were EXTREMELY creepy!

Thanks for the DucKon report -- one of these years I'm going to have to get back there.

Yep -- except for Fred and Marc, I think I'm the only "original" left.

MICHAEL SUSKO, JR.

I'm glad you liked my Kitty Jo sketch. There were, in fact, 9 six-minute cartoons produced starring the Cattanooga Cats. Sadly, they're not much to write home about; as you noted, they were quite limited in both animation and writing due to the production constraints that were common for TV cartoons of the time. My main interest in the "Cats" (apart from their cute female singer) is their music. As I've recounted elsewhere, about 10 years ago I caught a Cattanooga Cats broadcast on Cartoon Network and happened to hear one of the songs featured on that morning's episode ("Incompatible").  Despite not having seen the show for nearly 30 years, I immediately recognized the tune and even some of the lyrics! Since then I've picked up their LP, which features some solid "bubblegum" pop.

All these drawings were done at this year's Mephit Furmeet in Memphis, TN.

That's all for now! Keep up the good work, everyone, and I'll see you for our big Issue #100 celebration!
